How Privates Work
You click “Start Private Show” on a model’s page. The public room closes. It’s just you and her. You pay per minute in tokens, and the show runs until you end it or run out.
That’s the basic version. Here’s what you actually need to know.
What It Costs
Rates are set by each model. The range is huge:

Most models you’ll actually want to watch charge 30-60 tokens/minute. A 10-minute private runs $24-48 at those rates. The price is always shown on their profile - no surprises.
Types of Private Sessions
True Private
Nobody else can see anything. It’s completely exclusive. This is the most expensive option but also the most personal.
Spy Shows
Other viewers can pay a reduced rate (usually 6-15 tokens/min) to watch your private - but they can’t interact or see your chat. The model doesn’t know who’s spying. If you want true exclusivity, check that the model has spy mode disabled.
Group Shows
Multiple viewers split the cost. You pay maybe 12-18 tokens/minute each instead of the full private rate. Same explicit content, 70-80% cheaper. The trade-off: you’re sharing the experience and can’t make individual custom requests as easily. Full group show guide.
Ticket Shows
Pay a flat amount upfront (say 150 tokens), get a fixed-length show (say 15 minutes). Good deal if the show runs longer than expected - you don’t pay extra.
How to Actually Start One
- Find someone you like - browse models here
- Check their per-minute rate on their profile
- Make sure you have enough tokens (at minimum for a few minutes)
- Click “Start Private Show”
- Confirm the rate in the dialog that pops up
- Show starts immediately - public room closes
Cam2Cam
Some models let you turn on your webcam so she can see you too. Creates a two-way experience instead of one-sided viewing.
Not every model offers it. Look for “c2c available” on their profile or ask (with a small tip) before starting. It’s desktop-only on Chaturbate - no mobile c2c.

What Actually Happens
The honest version: it depends entirely on the model. But generally:
- Full nudity is standard
- Masturbation, toy use - typical
- Specific position/angle requests - usually honored
- Dirty talk - if you ask for it
- The model sets boundaries - some things are off-limits and that’s final
- You can end anytime - billing stops the second you click “End”
Tips From Experience
Ask beforehand. Send a 10-25 token tip with a message like “What do you do in private?” before committing. Models appreciate the communication and you’ll know what to expect.
Set a mental budget. It’s easy to lose track of time. Decide “I’ll spend 500 tokens max” before starting. The per-minute billing adds up faster than you expect.
Try newer models first. Rates are lower (6-18 tokens/min vs 60+), they try harder to impress, and they’re more flexible with requests. A genuinely great private with a newer model at 12 tokens/min costs less than a mediocre one with a top performer at 60.
Tip extra for great shows. Models remember generous clients. Next time you visit, you’ll get priority and better treatment. A 100-200 token “thanks” tip at the end goes a long way.
Don’t record. Screen recording private shows violates TOS and will get your account permanently banned if detected. Models’ content is their livelihood.
Quick Answers
Minimum spend? No platform minimum. Technically you could start a 1-minute show. But most models prefer at least 5 minutes - anything less feels rushed.
Can I message first? Yes. Tip 5-25 tokens with a question in public chat. Most models happily answer questions about their private show content.
What if it’s bad? End immediately. You’re only charged for elapsed minutes. No refunds for time spent, but you can cut your losses by ending fast.
Do I need tokens in advance? Yes. You need enough in your account to cover at least one minute at the model’s rate before you can start.
